The System

The ground handling system consists of:

Four Double Tips

With 600 mm x 600 mm grizzlies and two rock breakers per tip, feeding the crusher systems through 2.1 m diameter ore passes.

Four Crusher Systems

Each with a bulkhead and feed chute (flow designed by Wouter Deijs), discharging onto an apron feeder, then a vibrating grizzly feeder, then a jaw crusher.

Direct Discharge

The grizzly underflow and apron feeder dribble discharge directly into the ore pass.

Ore Pass to Conveyor

The ore pass below the crushing system discharges into a bulkhead and a Wouter Deijs designed chute, onto a vibrating feeder and then the conveyor system.

North and South Conveyors

The conveyor system feeding the shaft silos has a North and a South system, each with two bulkheads fed from the four crusher systems.
